Getting to Bristol

Road

Bristol sits on the junction of the M4 and M5, providing easy access to North, South, East and West. Devon is about an hour down the M5 and London is under 2 hours up the M4.

Rail

Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway train stations similarly offer easy connectivity to London, Cardiff, the North and South. It’s just 1 hr 40 to London Paddington or 1 hr to Exeter.

Air

Bristol Airport has been growing rapidly now offering flights to New York as well as many domestic and European flights with Easyjet amongst others. If you cannot get where you want to from Bristol, then you can always try Cardiff or Exeter. In any event, Heathrow is only just over 1 hr 30 mins by car, but once you have had the less hectic regional airport experience, you will try your best to fly from Bristol.

Real People

"I moved to Bristol from London a year ago and I've never felt more settled. The city is big enough to boast diversity, culture and various tourist attractions and has an excellent new shopping centre. Initially, I thought I'd be homesick for London but I'm not a bit.  Bristol offers affordable rents, good public transport, lots of pedestrian retail areas and plenty of fashionable eateries, pubs and... people!"
