Clifton

CliftonClifton, Cotham and Redland are certainly the more affluent districts of Bristol and have earned themselves the collective name of the "magic triangle". The magic triangle is situated on the North West  side of Bristol and boast some of Bristol’s better known attractions such as Durdham Downs, Bristol Zoo, the Suspension Bridge and the regency Clifton Village.

Clifton is split into two parts with the genteel hustle and bustle of Clifton Village on the one side and Whiteladies Road or 'the strip' as it is known locally on the other. The rows of bars and restaurants on the strip that can contribute to a lively night out with Bristol University’s finest do not appeal to everyone but other quieter spots can be found within easy walking distance. Clifton has many good primary schools to choose from and any number of private schools situated around the Downs.
