Restaurants in Bristol

Bristol’s culinary credentials have never been in doubt – the city has more than 250 eateries, half a dozen dedicated food and drink festivals and is a pioneer in the sustainable and Slow Food movements. From Michelin-starred dining at Casamia, to beautifully refined rustic pub grub at The Albion, even the celebs are getting a piece of the South West action – Raymond Blanc recently opened one of his esteemed brasseries in Cabot’s Circus, as did Antonio Carluccio, not forgetting Mitch Tonks’ fabulous Rockfish Grill and Seafood Market on Whiteladies Road. In short, it’s a city packed with passionate, committed local producers and truly inspired chefs catering for an ever more demanding – and satisfied – population. Here’s a few reminders of some of the edible treasures you’ll find on your doorstep.

Real People

"Although it was great to experience London life I was keen to move back to the South West and soon secured a job in Bristol. I have been living in Bristol since April 2007 and there are loads of reasons why I love it here. Socially, Bristol is a vibrant city; there are a wealth of diverse areas offering different things to do and see, from the exclusive bars and restaurants of Clifton Village to the historic sites, galleries and museums of the city centre."
