Shopping in Bristol
Cabot Circus
Broadmead in the centre of Bristol has now been transformed by the £500m development of Cabot Circus. It doesn’t look much from the outside, but is a great shopping experience once you get there. The glass roof that spans above the main area is cleverly designed in sections to keep the rain off, but leave you in the open air. This impressive new development has helped attract the likes of Harvey Nichols to town. The new development around the Quakers court has also helped attract some smaller boutique offerings to alleviate high street chain fatigue.
The Mall, Cribbs Causeway
If you want some free parking and a vast choice of high street shops, including an excellent John Lewis and Marks & Spencer, then the Mall at Cribbs Causeway is the answer.
Away from the high street
Park Street and Clifton Village have proven havens for the independent retailer. The Bristol Guild on Park Street is a particular winner if you are after a last minute present that is a little more personal.
Real People
"Having recently moved to Bristol I am enjoying discovering all the delights that this city has to offer; it's great to be working in the centre with the pubs clubs and shops so close at hand"
