Airbus in the UK is world-renowned for its centres of excellence for wing design, manufacture and assembly. Offering a dynamic and diverse working environment at our sites at Filton, Bristol, and Broughton, North Wales, around 135,000 jobs are generated in the UK by Airbus wing work, directly and indirectly through supplier contracts.
Airbus employs approximately 4,000 people at its Filton site in Bristol with approximately 2,000 engineers. The functions carried out at Filton include human resources, finance, procurement, engineering, manufacturing (A400m), training, facilty management, corporate comms and government relations.
